Logan Paul is turning his Prime lawsuits into a WWE storyline

Logan Paul has parodied his ongoing lawsuits involving Prime Hydration with a “lawsuit” against WWE star LA Knight.

Logan Paul launched Prime Hydration alongside fellow YouTuber KSI in 2022, and the pair has continued to grow the company massively since then.

Prime signed a sponsorship deal with the WWE in March 2023, just months after Logan became the US champion.

Paul defended his title during WWE SummerSlam 2024 on August 3, 2024, but lost it to LA Knight, another wrestler with whom he has an ongoing rivalry.

As part of SummerSlam 2024’s story, Knight “stole” a Prime-branded truck at the event and smashed its window with a steel bar. On August 5, Logan Paul posted a “lawsuit” against LA Knight for the damages to the vehicle… further evolving their WWE storyline together.

“Logan Paul, by and through undersigned counsel and pursuant to Ohio Rev. Code §§ 2307.60 and 2307.61, files this Complaint and Demand for Jury Trial against Shaun Michael Ricker a/k/a “LA Knight” to hold him accountable for civil theft and the willful property damage he caused by stealing Mr. Paul’s PRIME truck and later using a metal pipe to destroy the truck’s driver-side window and damage the door frame and surrounding areas,” it reads.

“In support of the claims herein, for which Mr. Paul seeks compensatory and exemplary damages and attorney’s fees and costs, and for which LA Knight has no viable defenses, Mr. Paul alleges as follows:

“This action arises from the illicit conduct of Defendant LA Knight, a World Wrestling Entertainment (“WWE”) wrestler, which caused serious damage to Mr. Paul’s vehicle. In the lead-up to his match with Mr. Paul at SummerSlam in Cleveland, Ohio, LA Knight came across Mr. Paul’s PRIME truck in the loading dock area of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. In an act of malice, LA Knight then drove off in the vehicle just as Mr. Paul was running toward him.”

The lawsuit screenshot is very much fake, noticeably missing a case number at the top of the page. It appears that Logan is parodying the ongoing lawsuits that Prime Hydration is facing.

Since launch, Prime has been hit with lawsuits alleging the use of forever chemicals in the hydration formula, false advertising on the energy drinks, and most recently, trademark infringement from the US Olympic committee.

Prime filed a defamation lawsuit against pro-boxer Ryan Garcia in May, prompting the star to apologize for “spreading lies” about the drink.
