On Friday, David, 59, shared that his mother is in the hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina and that he and his brother are with her after she suffered from “abdominal pain and dehydration.”

“I’ll miss my shift on QVC tonight and tomorrow,” he told his followers.

“I got to NC fine last night & have spent the day with Mom at the hospital. They have run many tests & have determined that her organs are fine … now we are turning our attention to her abdominal pain,” David updated on Saturday.

“Her appetite is not back yet but we are encouraged by today’s events. Everything is step-by-step. She is napping now and getting some much-needed rest.”

“Thanks again for all of your prayers & good wishes. I’ve shared them with Mom & she is most grateful. More updates coming soon,” David ended.

“Mom Update #3. My mother is still under the weather and I’m staying with her in NC for a few more days. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes and I will keep you updated. Thank you all again!” he wrote in his most recent post.

Mary DeAngelis is currently filling in for David.
