90210 Star Jennie Garth in Two-Piece Workout Gear Says "A good workout always clears my head!"

Jennie Garth is best known, and forever beloved, for her role as Kelly Taylor on Beverly Hills, 90210. She would reprise her role in the sequel series, 90210. Garth and her castmates would reunite in BH 90210, a satirical comedy inspired by their lives. She also played Val Tyler on What I Like About You. Last month, Garth shared a video of herself working out with her trainer on Instagram. She captioned the post, “Recently my workouts have been the main thing keeping me grounded. Movement always allows me to reset my mind while taking care of my body. A good workout always clears my head!” How does she stay so fit? In her Instagram video, Garth is seen doing lunges with her trainer. ACE Fitness states that lunges have a lot of benefits. “Lunges work the biggest muscles in your lower body — mainly the quadriceps, gluteus maximus, and the adductor magnus (the muscle in your inner thigh). Other muscles that come into play are the hamstrings, gluteus medius, calves, and core stabilizers, says Susane Pata, content strategist for the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and NASM-certified personal trainer based in Miami.”

Garth shared this workout video on Instagram. In it, she is seen doing TRX workouts. Garth captioned the post, “Happy Monday! Here’s some Monday motivation for you. It can be hard to push yourself sometimes, so if you need a helping hand, here you are. 😘Let’s get it!” The YMCA of Greater Whittier says TRX has a lot of benefits. “Unlike some workouts that target specific muscle groups, TRX engages the entire body. From core-stabilizing exercises to upper and lower body movements, TRX ensures a comprehensive workout in every session.”

In the previous Instagram post, Garth is seen on the elliptical. The Hospital for Special Surgery states that the elliptical has a lot of benefits. “Elliptical machines are a bit like the Swiss Army knives of the gym. The forward-and-back motion of their pedals simulates walking or jogging, while the up-down movement is akin to a stair climber. Meanwhile, the arm attachments provide the arms, chest and shoulders with a muscle-building workout.”

Garth is all about self-care. She talked about this in the caption of the Instagram post. “When I don’t have time to get to a workout I’ll always try to do some kinda self care to shake any stress off,” she wrote. “Like going for a walk, hanging out with my girls or simply trying to do nothing (harder than it sounds). 😩 What does self care look like for you?”
