The movie, announced in March, is penned by Rachel, Bill Parker, and Kim Caramele, and is directed by Rachel Lee Goldenberg, known for “Valley Girl” and “The Mindy Project.”

James also stars in the upcoming comedy-mystery “Greedy People” alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Himesh Patel, set for release later this year. In 2023, she appeared in the Italian period drama “Finally Dawn” and the American sports biographical drama “The Iron Claw.”
