Blake Lively jokingly scolded husband Ryan Reynolds on social media this week after he appeared with a canine friend at a star-studded event.
Decked out in a teal suit, Reynolds joined fellow actor Hugh Jackman in London on Thursday to promote the new movie “Deadpool & Wolverine” — and they took the stage at the Eventim Apollo with a dog named Peggy, aka Mary Puppins.
The pup, who appears in the film as “Dogpool,” is already known in the U.K. as the 2023 winner of Britain’s “ugliest dog” competition.
That less-than-flattering title, however, meant nothing to Reynolds, who shared a social media video of himself holding Peggy and proclaiming, “She is a 10 in our hearts.”
He added, “This dog went though more training than Hugh Jackman did in the gym … and we love her very, very much.”

By Friday, the video had drawn a plethora of gushing responses from Reynolds’ fans. None, however, was quite as memorable as Lively’s.
“SOS. He’s trying to get me pregnant again,” the “Gossip Girl” actor quipped on her Instagram stories.
She then issued Reynolds a playful warning: “Put the dog that you find adorable in spite of societal k9 expectations away and take off the damn teal suit! Rude.”
Lively and Reynolds, who have been married since 2012, share daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4. Last year the couple revealed that they’d welcomed a fourth child, whose name and gender have not yet been publicly disclosed.
Fans can catch more of Jackman, Reynolds and Peggy when “Deadpool & Wolverine” opens in U.S. theaters July 26.
