It comes just over a week after Wilson and his model girlfriend Dellanno revealed their own big news.

The timing raised a few eyebrows due to past controversy between Wilson, Milne and Gile.

Wilson, 24, and Gile were high school sweethearts but it was revealed that she was dating his longtime friend Milne, 25, in 2022.

She was accused of being a “homie hopper” on social media and replied with a now infamous accusation about the former New York Jets quarterback.

“Sleeping with his mom’s best friend … that’s the real homie hopper,” she posted on Instagram before deleting her account.

Wilson was drafted by the Jets with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

His former friend Milne was picked up by the Commanders in the seventh round.

Milne opted to pop the question on the beach after laying out a blanket, candles, photos, and rose petals.

Wilson chose a fairytale Italian vacation for his own proposal.

He was traded to the Broncos in April and will now fight for a starting job against Jarrett Stidham and first-round pick Bo Nix.

Ahead of OTAs, Broncos coach Sean Payton said it would be an open battle.

“We try to split up all the reps,” Payton said.

“There’s going to be a time when you read into the reps, I don’t think it’s early in OTAs.

“It’s kind of the orphan group, they’re all orphan dogs.

“They’ve come from somewhere, but they’re doing good. It’s a good room.

“We go by what we see. We try to get them as many reps as possible.

“We rotate. We’re rotating all of them right now.

“They’re all in a race to learn this system. Man, they’re doing well.”

The Broncos’ pre-season begins with a clash against the Indianapolis Colts on August 11.

They will also face the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals before their opener against the Seattle Seahawks.
