EMINEM’S fans think he slyly announced his retirement while promoting his new song, Houdini.
The rapper, 51, FaceTimed magician David Blaine in a video shared on Instagram to tease his upcoming track from his new album.

In the video, Eminem rang David to ask for his “help with something,” saying he’s “greatest to ever do it.”
David, 51, agreed and responded, “We should do something together one time.”
“So what I was wondering is, how far can we go with this magic? Like, can we do like a stunt or something?” Eminem asked.
David then drank a glass of wine while walking through a busy restaurant and started eating the glass
“Well for my last trick, I’m going to make my career disappear,” Eminem said at the end of the clip.
The words “Houdini” appeared onscreen at the end of the screen along with the date “5.31.24” – confirming the song will be out on Friday.
Eminem – who attended his daughter Hailie’s wedding last week – appeared to have taken inspiration from the late Harry Houdini with the song title.
Houdini was an escape artist and illusionist like David.
“Please do not try this at home. Or anywhere else,” the rapper captioned his post, alongside a bunny, top hat, and wand emoji.
Fans thought his words, “I’m going to make my career disappear” was a hint that he’s going to retire.
“What do you mean make your career disappear?” one asked.
“He’s gonna drop an album and then he’s gonna retire,” another claimed.
“He’s never publicly announced retirement but the way he’s putting things now kinda feels like it,” a third agreed.
“Yo Marshall, don’t retire, you Heard, don’t you dare…..” someone else commented.

Eminem – whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III – announced last month that his 12th studio album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) will be arriving this summer.
SHADY’S OBITUARY
Earlier this month he released a fake Slim Shady obituary in a Detroit newspaper.
The piece featured a photo of Eminem wearing dungarees and a white hockey mask with the headline “Slim Shady Made Lasting Impressions.”
The subheading read “Fans Will ‘Never Forget’ Controversial Rapper” – prompting some to think it could be the name of a song on the album.
Earlier this year Dr. Dre revealed he produced several tracks on the album.
“Eminem is working on his own album, which is coming out this year,” he said on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
“I actually talked to him and he said it was okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show. So he has an album coming out, I’ve got songs on it and it’s fire.”
Eminem has forged a career that has spanned almost two decades, bursting onto the music scene with his Slim Shady EP in 1997.
He dropped his last album, Music To Be Murdered By, in early 2020.
