Gale shared some of her secrets to getting in shape for a show to Vogue. “I take ashwagandha to help with stress, and since stress has an impact on your beauty from the inside out I’d say ashwagandha is helpful in keeping my skin clear. I also switch my morning coffee to morning matcha instead two weeks prior to show. And I make sure to not skip my daily dose of chlorella and spirulina. Chlorella especially, keeps my nails and hair healthy and strong.“
Gale makes sure to eat healthy. She shared her typical diet with Vogue. “I was never introduced to bad, unhealthy foods so for me it’s just natural to eat very healthy. I eat lots of fish, all vegetables except potatoes, I love slow release carbs like oatmeal for breakfast, yogurt, and lots of berries and fruits. I snack on nuts and raw vegan chocolate sweetened with coconut sugar.”
Gale has amazing abs, and she makes sure to take care of them. She shared her typical ab workout in this Instagram video. In it, Gale is seen doing elbow to knee crunches, toe touch crunches, and crunches with a knee lift. She captioned the post, “8 min ab workout💪🏽 ⭐️4 exercises. 30 seconds each. Repeat 4 sets.“
Gale shared her fitness secrets with V Magazine. She says that she does workouts that she enjoys. “I think a lot of people assume that fitness only means going to the gym, but to me, it’s always been about finding anything active that I enjoy, and finding the balance with having fun. I’m very lucky because fitness has also ended up being a huge part of my work, which I think of as a great luxury to have something I’m so passionate about organically integrated into my professional life.”
Gale tells V Magazine that she makes sure to stay consistent when it comes to working out. “Having that love for wellness makes staying dedicated far easier as well, everything is harder when we view it as an obligation rather than a pleasure,” she shared. “Usually on my days off, and sometimes before going to set – I end up heading to Pilates, boxing or jump rope and when that gets boring, I go rock climbing with friends or find some other activity we can tackle.”
