HILARY Duff has given fans a glimpse into the emotional at-home water birth she had to deliver her baby.
The 36-year-old actress and her husband, Matthew Koma, 36, welcomed their daughter, Townes, on May 3.

The two are already parents to daughters Banks, 5, and Mae, 2, and Hilary also shares her 11-year-old son, Luca, with her ex-husband Mike Comrie, 43.
The How I Met Your Father star shared a set of emotional black-and-white photos on Tuesday to announce the birth of Townes.
Hilary was seen in a water bath kissing the top of her daughter’s head, clearly full of emotion.
Another photo showed Hilary sharing a kiss with her husband, who was leaning over the side of the bath as she held their newborn.
The final shot showed Matthew sweetly looking down at Townes, who was wrapped in a towel in his arms.
“Townes Meadow Bair, now we know why she made us wait so long…She was perfecting those Cheeks!” Hilary wrote in the caption.
“I Have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you and smell you has been pure moments of magic,” the Younger star added.
“We all love you like you’ve been here all along beauty.”
Shortly after, Hilary shared a selfie of her and Townes on her Instagram Stories.
“Townsie gahhh,” she wrote as Townes was seen cuddling on her chest.
On Wednesday, Matthew, whose real last name is Bair, also shared another photo of their new daughter in his Stories.
Townes was sleeping while laying down on her stomach, showing off her full cheeks and dark head of hair.
She wore a yellow onesie and had a blanket with a baby deer pattern covering her.

Since announcing the birth of her daughter, Hilary has received tons of congratulations from friends and fellow celebs in her comments section.
“Welcome beautiful little girl,” Glee star Lea Michele, who is currently expecting her second child, wrote on Hilary’s post.
“Congratulations my loveeeeeee!!” actress Jenna Dewan, who is also currently pregnant, wrote.

After weeks of speculation from fans, Hilary finally announced her pregnancy in December.
Some eagle-eyed followers had been noticing the actress concealing her midsection in baggier clothing during the weeks leading up.
The reveal included her family’s Christmas card, which showed her alongside her husband and their three kids.

The Lizzie McGuire star wore a shocked expression on her face as she looked down at her baby bump.
“Buckle up Buttercups, we’re adding one more to this crazy bunch,” she accompanied the shot.
Her husband added a caption that read: “Baby #4 is loading…”
Over the past few months, Hilary has been seen proudly showing off her bump and sharing her pregnancy journey on Instagram.
Shortly after sharing her Christmas card, the Raise Your Voice star shared a photo of her cuddling her belly bump while relaxing at home in bed.
Just last week, she was spotted in a fashionable floral dress and green trench coat as she grabbed coffee with her mom in Studio City, California.
Around the same time, she shared more family photos on Instagram as the bunch posed in various locations.
