40 PREVIOUS contestants from America’s Got Talent have returned for the franchise’s Fantasy League spinoff.
Similar to the show’s main incarnation, the winner earns a cash prize for finishing in first place.
What does the winner of America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League get?
The first-place winner of America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League is awarded a $250,000 grand prize.
Similar to AGT’s main show, Fantasy League’s champion is chosen by the program’s voters.
Voting is available through NBC’s official website, as well as the AGT app for Android and Apple.
Fantasy League’s grand prize is a quarter of what the AGT winners get.
AGT’s champion is awarded $1 million over 40 years, which equals a yearly $25,000.
What is the difference between AGT and Fantasy League?
Compared to AGT’s main run, the four Fantasy League judges are more involved with the show’s competitive process.
Each of the judges is allowed to choose which of the returning contestants they get to mentor as part of their Dream Team.
Throughout the audition process, Simon Cowell, Mel B, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum get to select 10 competitors for their Dream Team.

The difference in the program’s process is meant to emulate sports fantasy league drafting.
AGT’s famous Golden Buzzer also makes its return in Fantasy League.
However, the Golden Buzzer is back with a twist; the judges can now use it to steal a performer from another judge’s roster.
“I’m really annoyed about that,” Simon admitted about the buzzer’s twist.
He told Parade: “We really did mentor the acts. It is one thing judging acts, we can all judge acts.
“It’s another thing rolling your sleeves up and actually making decisions that are going to make a difference.
“I didn’t find it funny. I tell you why, because I really didn’t think anybody would take my acts, but they did.”
While referring to his fellow panelists, Simon added: “I lost two acts and I was absolutely gobsmacked…like, ‘Why would you do that?’
“Even though that was part of the show, you’ve got to give the Golden Buzzer to your own act, but they stole my acts.
“So, I was really, really upset. I still am, actually.”
