The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Diane Jenkins’ return has been confirmed, so Susan Walters is back in the role for a major Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) story twist. CDL previously reported on the reliable insider buzz about Diane’s comeback, but now there’s hard evidence that she’s indeed returning from the dead.
A new pic has leaked on social media that shows Diane standing with Jack and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang).
You can bet Jack’s going to be confused for multiple reasons once this big reveal plays out!
For starters, Y&R fans know Diane is supposed to be deceased.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) killed Diane in self-defense as part of a murder mystery storyline back in 2011.
Maura West was playing Diane at the time, but the show is bringing back Susan Walters’ classic version for this epic shocker.
Of course, this is a soap, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to undo Diane’s death with some wild explanation.
However, Jack will also have questions about the mystery texts and how Diane fits in this whole situation with Allie.
Diane will have plenty of surprising answers for Jack – and she’ll inevitably cause total chaos once her comeback becomes common knowledge in Genoa City.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) had quite a feud with Diane once upon a time, so her return won’t be a welcome one as far as Phyllis is concerned.
Nikki certainly won’t be pleased over this ghost from her past turning up alive either!
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is also in for a shock once he learns his mother has been alive and well this whole time.
Kyle will no doubt want to confront Diane sooner or later and get some answers of his own.
Susan Walters’ return as Diane Jenkins will lead to some serious drama, so it’s easy to see why the show made the decision to reverse Diane’s death and make her part of the action again.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane will bring some exciting bombshells, so don’t miss what’s ahead on the CBS soap.
CDL will have other terrific Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so pop back in soon.
