Vintage Culture Teases Debut Album, Launches New Label and Event Series With BOMA

Vintage Culture, who also dropped a new single, continues to highlight why he’s one of the foremost tastemakers in the latest melodic house boom cycle.

The next evolution of Vintage Culture has arrived.

The red-hot Brazilian DJ and dance music superstar is set to deliver his debut album and has now announced a partnership with Born Of Music Addiction (BOMA), an electronic music and lifestyle brand with whom he’s teaming up to launch a new events series, record label and clothing brand.

“When the BOMA brand was launched in 2018 I already felt there was something special about the project,” Vintage Culture said in a statement shared with EDM.com. “Since then I’ve always supported and tried to be close to it in every way I could. BOMA has an energy and identity that resonates with me. What it stands for, how it makes you feel. I couldn’t be happier to be now officially part of the brand.”

Culture’s new album is led by “If I Live Forever,” a collaboration with surging singer-songwriter Izzy Bizu. His meteoric rise immediately precluded the broader boom in techno and house music that’s been dominant the last couple of years, but with the album’s lead single, he continues to show why he’s among this cycle’s leading tastemakers.

With a diverse slate of rhythmic hand percussion and the distinct pluck and resonance of sitar-inspired strings, Culture once more strikes a chord, ensnaring listeners with an instrumental arrangement that sparks curiosity. Dynamic, introspective vocals from Bizu along with the tiptoe of the track’s arpeggiated melody fuse it all together with a meditative and danceable groove.

Vintage Culture has confirmed his album is due out in 2023 but a release date is still forthcoming. Take a listen to “If I Live Forever” below.
