New Jersey rock revivalists The Modbeats have released their latest single, ‘The Passers-Bye,’ a track that blends vintage rock influences with introspective lyricism, questioning the routine nature of modern life.
Drawing inspiration from The Kinks and Oasis, the song combines jangly chord progressions with a driving rhythm, crafting a sound that feels nostalgic and urgent. Co-written with J. Vincent Vassallo and featuring Bryan Haring (The Gaslight Anthem), the song captures everyday moments of people moving through life—some searching for deeper meaning, others simply passing by.
‘The Passers-Bye’ is out now.
