MANY brides know that finding your wedding dress and outfits can be one of the most expensive parts of getting married.

However, one savvy woman decided she would save some cash by checking out a famous charity shop’s lesser-known bridal floor.

TikTok user @bridalantics visited Oxfam in Kingston where there is a secret wedding dress floor upstairs, and told people to “RUN DON’T WALK” when she made some incredible discoveries.

She shared: “I called Oxfam Kingston and made an appointment for their secret bridal store upstairs.

“I had the whole floor to myself for one hour before one other person joined.

“I cannot believe how many stunning affordable dresses I found in such good condition: wedding dresses, wedding guest dresses, civil ceremony dresses & all other things bridal wardrobe.”

The bride shared how dresses were organised by style and ranged from about £70-£250.

She showed off the first “stunning number” she picked up, which was a white dress with a corset top.

The woman continued: “I’m thinking of getting it altered into just a corset and a silk skirt made to wear with it.

“Possibly for my welcome party.”

She then found a £12 veil that she didn’t end up buying but later regretted as it would have been perfect for her “civil ceremony or hen do.”

She also regretted not buying a white halterneck dress with a pretty floral bow for her honeymoon or bridal shower.

I found my dream wedding dress in a charity shop for £4.60

However, she did find a gorgeous white, lace gown that she would use on her post-wedding holiday with her partner.

The bride-to-be wrote: “Bought this to wear for our honeymoon that we have yet to plan & don’t even know which continent it’ll be in or when it’ll be lol.

“No regrets, it was <£60.”

The bride was amazed with what she found

After her trip, she concluded that it was a “successful trip.”

The bride said: “Left with two wedding dresses” (one for my civil ceremony and one for my second look) + the dress I bought for our honeymoon AND two vintage wedding guest dresses.

“The grand total was only £220.

“I’ve been told that the bridal collection moves around the country, so possibly check online or call to see if it’s still in London.

“If anyone knows any good tailors in London please let me know!
“I’ll definitely head back next year to look for a veil.”

Many people were hugely impressed with her finds, with one saying: “Girl, why do they ALL look soooo good on you!!”

Another added: “Absolutely love everything you chose! You look amazing.”
