FX has unveiled the official trailer for The Bear Season 3, previewing Carmy’s (Jeremy Allen White) vision for the new restaurant. Watch the full clip below.
To open the trailer, Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) takes Carmy down a peg by mocking his list of “non-negotiables,” which includes pushing boundaries, constantly evolving through creativity, and “vibrant collaboration,” in a tone that she emphasizes is not sarcasm, but “snark.”
We then find out Carmy’s fallen out with Claire after saying he “couldn’t waste my time” with their relationship. The tension proceeds to ratchet up several notches over a partnership agreement, picking out the wrong bowls, and food that doesn’t meet Carmy’s standards.
According to the official description, Season 3 will see Carmy, Sydney, and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) doing “what it takes to elevate The Bear” as “Carmy pushes himself harder than ever, and demands excellence from his crew, who do their best to match his intensity.”
“Their quest for culinary excellence will propel the crew to new levels and stress the bonds that hold the restaurant together,” the logline continues. “As the team grows in size, each member will strive to reach a greater level of service within their role. In the restaurant industry, you’re never on solid ground, and with that ever-changing landscape comes new challenges and opportunities.”
