The Used‘s Bert McCracken has unveiled the latest track from his pop solo project Robbietheused, in the form of uplifting single ‘The Feels’.
Following the launch of the project with ‘Just A Little Bit’ – released alongside a vividly morbid claymation video – the new track was also produced by John Feldmann.
Speaking on ‘The Feels’, Robbietheused has shared:
“This song was inspired by my on-going battle with mental health and is about learning to lean into love and acceptance. It was written in 2022 with John Feldmann and I’m so happy to finally share it with you. peace and love <3”

With a full-length album on the way, on working with long-time collaborator and friend John Feldmann on the project Robbietheused has said:
“John Feldmann is a wizard.
“He can make anything and he’s so easy to work with. He’s the hardest working man I know in the music industry. There’s no drama recording with him. It was a smooth process—just like making a Used record.”
“In the morning, we’d talk about how we’re feeling and what’s on our minds on that day.
“And ask, ‘How’s the mental health? How’s the vibes?’ And then we’d formulate a song around that. It was almost like a therapy session, where I’d really get to talk about anything that’s on my mind, and then make a song about it.”
