Kids In Glass Houses have shared funk-laden, feel-good track ‘Have A Good Time’, the final single taken from their long-awaited fifth album, ‘Pink Flamingo’.
Following the release of emotional single ‘Rothko Painting’, the dreamy ‘Vulnerable’ and album opener ‘Theme From Pink Flamingo’, ‘Have A Good Time’ is the final taste of ‘Pink Flamingo’ before the album arrives on October 25.
Speaking on the track, vocalist Aled Phillips has shared:
“Have A Good Time is a song about the absurdity and misadventures of modern life and how sometimes you just have to find the humour and joy in it all. It’s my favourite song on the album and it leans quite heavily on the music that inspired us growing up. It’s definitely one of our most ambitious songs sonically and there was a real sense of freedom and energy in the studio when we were making it that I think you can hear on the recording. Capturing feelings and vibes was something that was super important on this album and I think this typifies that. It just makes me feel fucking amazing whenever I hear it. I’m frankly gassed that we wrote something that people can strut through ASDA car park to.”
