Ice Spice is not here for the negativity surrounding her appearance at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars Party.
The rapper, who became a household name after participating in the “Buss It” challenge in 2021, quickly clapped back at a hater who expressed disappointment at her Oscars party outfit.
Ice Spice’s faceoff with the critic comes shortly after she announced she was done working on her debut album.
Ice Spice Clapped Back At A Critic Over Her Afterparty Look
Even though Spice caused a stir in a striking black sheer gown adorned with lace details, revealing black undergarments beneath, not all social media users were impressed.
In fact, one internet citizen took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to lament, “I wish her stylist would step up their game…same lace bodysuit twice in a row.” Upon seeing the comment, the 24-year-old rapper retorted, ” Let’s see you b——s in custom dolce.”
However, instead of calming the waters, the response resulted in Spice receiving even more criticism, with one observer stating, “Y’all think cuz it’s expensive or custom; it’s fashion or nice for certain events… read the room you’re not at a club hosting.”
Another critic pointed out, “This wasn’t even a drag, it was a valid critique mamas,” while a third informed the GLAAD Media Awards nominee that “designer can be ugly too.”
Someone else expressed, “You can’t be famous and not know how to take constructive criticism without trying to seem better than somebody [sic] else lol.” [sic]

The Content Of Ice Spice’s Bag Are So Random
Aside from her musical strides, Spice caught people’s attention when she publicly revealed that she always carries an extra pair of her favorite colored pants in her bag. As she explained during an appearance on British Vogue’s “In the Bag” YouTube series:
“The baddies that get it get it. All my panties are pink. I always keep a panty because, like, you have to change your panties, you know what I’m saying?”
Another item that she keeps with her is her handheld cutting tool, which she affectionately refers to as “pokey.” In her words:
“Y’all know I have to [sic] keep the pokey on me. It’s like what you use to open boxes. I’m from New York, so we got a lot of boxes to open over there.”
Additionally, Spice mentioned that her bag contained other accessories, such as two phones, hand cream, a wallet, earbuds, sunglasses, and lip gloss.
