Dolly is Godmother to Miley Cyrus, although never officially confirmed in a ceremony.

FAMILY TIES

“I’ve known her since she was a baby,” Dolly told Good Morning America in 2009.

“Her father’s a friend of mine, and when she was born, he said, ‘You just have to be her godmother,’ and I said, ‘I accept.’

“We never did do a big ceremony, but I’m so proud of her, love her. and she’s just like one of my own,” Dolly concluded.

Dolly appeared on the first season of Disney‘s Hannah Montana in 2006 alongside Miley and the pair have collaborated on stage frequently.

Notably, the pair performed Dolly’s hit Jolene together on stage at the Grammys in 2019.

Although Dolly has no children of her own, she considers herself an ‘honorary,” godparent.

WINE NOT?

The country singer’s good news did not end there, however, with Dolly sharing another post on Thursday sharing that she is releasing wine.

She posted a promotional photo which included Dolly smiling while holding a green bottle of Chardonnay wine with a blue label and cap.

Dolly wore a skin-tight sequined white jacket with a blue tank top underneath.

Her blond locks were pulled back into their iconic bouffant style and she wore long blue earrings which matched gems that adorned her outfit.

On the label, Dolly’s iconic diamond name was featured.
