Zentreya has officially taken the crown from Ironmouse as the most-watched English-speaking VTuber of Q2 2025, according to new data from Streamscharts.
The former VShojo star surged to the top of the charts with 4.72 million hours watched, narrowly beating out Hololive EN’s Koseki Bijou (4.54M) and former #1 Ironmouse (4.53M). Zentreya’s rise is largely credited to her first-ever subathon in June, which significantly boosted her watchtime and solidified her Twitch dominance.
Ironmouse led the Q1 2025 rankings with 5.37 million hours watched, but dropped slightly in Q2 as Zentreya capitalized on marathon streams and high community engagement.
Mori Calliope (2.7M) and Shylily (2.42M) rounded out the English top five.
Japanese VTubers still dominate overall stats
Meanwhile, the Japanese VTuber scene continues to operate on a different level. Sakura Miko took the global top spot with over 12 million hours watched, maintaining an average of 30,000 viewers per stream.
Kuzuha followed closely behind, putting in the most hours streamed among the top 10 while averaging over 25,000 viewers.
StreamschartsOne of the more notable trends this quarter is the continued shift toward multistreaming. While YouTube still dominates total VTuber viewership, Twitch is gaining serious ground. Over 60% of active VTuber channels now stream on Twitch, thanks in part to its robust community features and creator tools.
Despite YouTube remaining the cultural home for many top Japanese talents, Zentreya’s Twitch-only rise shows how the platform is becoming a bigger player in the VTuber world.
With both Zentreya and Koseki climbing the ranks, the English VTuber space is more competitive than ever.
