Hollywood star Will Smith turned up on xQc’s stream in a surprising celebrity appearance, revealing that his kids are big fans of his content.
Mainstream celebrities are making a big crossover in the world of online entertainment, with Twitch streamer Kai Cenat being the most prominent example of this rising trend.
Featuring a revolving door of A-List guests like Kevin Hart, Nicki Minaj and more, the streamer was even invited to the Grammys, where he linked up with the Fresh Prince himself, Will Smith.
Kai isn’t the only streamer Smith has cozied up to lately, as he made an unexpected appearance on Felix ‘xQc‘ Lengyel’s broadcast on February 19, just days after the influencer teased something “big” coming for his fans.
xQc is one of the net’s top streamers, famously signing a $100M deal with Kick in 2023.
Will Smith appears as unexpected guest on xQc’s stream
As the Men In Black star made his way into xQc’s streaming room, his chat instantly popped off in excitement to see one of the world’s biggest actors of all time collaborating with one of the net’s most successful content creators.
After getting acquainted with the stream, Smith dropped a surprising fact on Lengyel, admitting that his kids are big fans of his broadcasts — specifically his sons Jaden and Trey.
“Jaden is the one in the family that stays tuned in,” the actor said. “My oldest son, Trey, too. He’s on Twitch, too. …He streams video games every day, yeah.”
“Wow,” xQc exclaimed. “That is actually really nice. Does he play a bunch of games? …I respect that a lot.”
“You have no idea how much of a new world this is,” Smith remarked, prompting xQc to ‘teach’ him how to stream.
Trey Smith’s Twitch channel currently boasts just over 1.9K followers, where he streams games like Fortnite and Modern Warfare 3 – titles that he even coaches other players to help improve their skills.
Will Smith has been involved in digital projects in the past, most famously appearing in a cameo for YouTube’s infamous Rewind 2018 video that turned into a viral meme.
