JOHN Travolta has cemented himself as one of the most celebrated actors of all time.
However the star, who is alive and well, has been subject to a slew of despicable death hoaxes.

John Travolta is an Academy Award-nominated American actor, singer, entertainer and aviator.
The Hollywood star was born on February 18, 1954.
Travolta shot to superstardom during the late 1970s following starring roles in Grease and Saturday Night Fever.

But it hasn’t always been glitz and glamour for Travolta, who tragically lost both his son Jett and wife, fellow actor Kelly Preston, to a seizure and breast cancer respectively.
At the time, husband John Travolta paid tribute to his wife’s “courageous fight” as he revealed that she had battled the disease for two years, but chose to keep her illness private.
While describing the unimaginable pain of losing their teenage son, John said he “didn’t want to wake up” and didn’t think he would get through it.
