GLOBETROTTERS Ryan Losasso and Jade Beaty from Live the Dash quit their jobs to become travel influencers.
Now popular influencers they celebrate scooping TikTok’s Travel Award for 2024. Here’s their story so far.

The influencers are best known for their hugely popular TikTok channel @Live_thedash, where the pair boast 481.8K followers (as of December 2024).
They travel duo are quite the hit on Instagram too, with over 74.6K fans following their page (as of December 2024).
Ryan and Jade update their social media pages regularly with travel reviews, budget holiday recommendations, and an ongoing comedic challenge to find an ice cream van in the UK that still sells a 99 Mr Whippy for it’s original price of 99p.
According to LinkedIn, Jade quit her job as a senior accounts manager in January 2022.
She traded her corporate job to make travel videos for TikTok alongside Ryan instead.
Ryan did the same – in fact it was all his idea.
He previously worked as a business consultant for Amazon, and one lunch break he decided to call Jade with his courageous idea to quit their day jobs to start a travel vlog instead.
With an audience of over 800,000 on all social media platforms combined, and over 30million monthly views (as of December 2024), it’s fair to say their sacrifice paid off.
Travelling the world
Creating content for TikTok has taken this travel-hungry pair all over the globe.
From sleeping in football stadium hotels, to finding the best pizza in Brooklyn, NY, this pair are doing it all, and on a budget.

Winning influencers
On December 4, 2024, Ryan and Jade took home a top gong at the TikTok Awards.
They won the coveted prize of TikTok Travel Content Creators of the Year Award.

After they win they said: “It’s so easy to underestimate how hard it is to make content because it’s our job to make it look seamless, but there’s a lot of planning that goes into it.”
On Instagram they shared a picture to illustrate just how over the moon they were to be voted the winners of 2024 TikTok Travel creators of the year Award.

They captioned the photo with a thankful message to their fans that said: “Is this real?
“We didn’t expect this one!
“We made travel videos for years that no-one watched.
“But we still spent every weekend finding the cheapest flights to Europe and filmed the journey.
“So getting our hands on this last night felt surreal.
“None of this is possible without you supporting us and watching our videos.
“We hope we say it enough, but we are so grateful.”
