Whitney is big on hydration, but not just with water. “Drinking water…I don’t know, staying hydrated is just something I’m not normally good at but I’ve been trying to get into tea a lot more,” she told Byrdie. “I found this company, Art of Tea, based out of Los Angeles. Their teas are really delicious and they’re packaged so cute. I think staying hydrated is easier when there’s a little flavor to it and it’s still healthy.”
Whitney prioritizes self-care. One way she does this is by making sure to get in some alone time every day. In one of her Instagram Stories she revealed that she wakes up “about 1-2 hours before the boys.” So she “sneaks out” and takes a walk, does a workout, listens to an audible book, or grabs coffee.
Whitney is big into yoga. But her favorite kind is hot yoga. “Love it,” she wrote in one of her INstagram Stories post-workout. “Love the heat. Love everything about hot yoga.”
Whitney meditates regularly. On the Wellness tab of her Instagram account she regularly shares her meditation and reveals that she often relies on the Calm app for guided meditation. “The word meditation usually makes people think of old men sitting cross-legged on a mountain with their eyes closed, but it can be incorporated into daily life pretty easily,” she says on her website, suggesting that you set aside ten or fifteen minutes a day for meditating.
Whitney doesn’t buy into all the Hollywood diet trends, but she does drink green juice. “For all of the hype, drinking a green juice really is one of the best things you can do for your body. It’s a straight shot of nutrients, minerals, and live enzymes – helping to increase energy, aid digestion, and boost your immune system. Her go-to? Our Morning Greens, a blend of Kale, Spinach, Romaine, Cucumber, Apple, Lemon, Ginger,” she said.
