Jennifer Lopez Is Coming With New MUSIC!!
On Thursday, the “Marry Me” actress broke her Instagram hiatus with the best news ever — her first studio album in eight years! JLo dropped the huge news with a short clip that began with a recreation of her 2002 album, “This Is Me…Then.”
A younger Lopez can be seen in a simple white cleavage-baring dress with a beanie as she said to the camera, “This is me then.” Soon enough, we watch her pull off her beanie and transition into the powerful, much older, more mature Jennifer Lopez, looking bolder and freer.
The 53-year-old let her voluminous honey-blonde hair flow down her shoulders as she rocked a cropped corset top that flaunted her super-toned abs with leather pants and a baggy jacket. The tone of the music changes to a pumped-up beat before JLo announces the name of her new album with her sonorous voice singing, “This Is Me…Now.”
In the accompanying caption, the singer blessed fans with even more great news by releasing the 13-track list of the highly-anticipated project that is set to come in 2023.

The timing of JLo announcing her ninth studio album is no doubt sentimental and intentional as it comes on the 20th anniversary of her 2002 project, which she tags her “favorite album.” However, what caught fans’ attention in the album tracklist is track number 7, titled “Dear Pen pt II,” which is a sequel to a track on her 2002 album, which was titled “Dear Ben.”
There is also track 12, “Midnight Trip To Vegas,” which speaks to their secret marriage to her husband Ben Affleck in July, which took place in a chapel in Vegas.
“This Is Me…Now” is also Lopez’s first music project since becoming the wife to Affleck, to whom she dedicated the first project to. A press release about the new album explains that it “chronicles the emotional, spiritual, and psychological journey that she has taken over the past two decades.”
The release assures fans that the new album would show “a vulnerability never seen” while showcasing “celebrations of love” through her powerhouse vocals.
“This album is a philosophy, a reflection, a zeitgeist moment. It’s about hope, faith, and true love never dying,” the release states.

Just as The Blast reported, fans went wild when the 53-year-old cleared up her social media pages. They even trended #JLOiscoming on Twitter. However, the excitement doubled with the new announcement as the internet hasn’t been the same.
