GOODBYE, clean girl aesthetic – one woman has left people open-mouthed after sharing how she becomes ”a mob wife” thanks to her make-up skills.
If there’s one make-up trend more viral than any other it’s the so-called clean girl look, made famous by celebs, such as Hailey Bieber, Sofia Richie and Bella Hadid.
The influencer-loved movement is all about looking put-together with minimal effort, achieving a natural glow by barely-there make-up, a healthy lip gloss, a sleek-back bun and golden hoop earrings.
But although it’s been all the rage for the last few years, it seems that some people are getting bored of it – one of whom is beauty lover Mirta Miler.
”I think at this point everyone is beyond tired of the clean girl aesthetic,” she said in a video posted on TikTok.
So, what has the sleek look been replaced with? Meet the ‘mob wife’, which is all about ditching minimalism and embracing a maximalist look, sporting a bright pout, heavy make-up and a smokey eye.
The trend, Mirta added, ”has been eating our For You Page” and can be described as someone ”baddie”.
Because the wives ”are spending their days in the tropics catching some sun”, they’ll never be pale – to achieve this, you can use either your favourite fake tan or a more bronzed skin tint, like Mirta did.
Another key step is not forgetting about your concealer, she noted.
”The mob wife doesn’t look tired – even though she definitely is.
”The features need to look sharp. I’m a soft chipmunk girlie, so we’re going to give ourselves some hollow cheeks.
”We are snatched from stressing the f**k out,” she joked on her platform, where she has over 18million fans.
After adding darker eye make-up, Mirta completed the jaw-dropping makeover look with big false eyelashes, as well as a burgundy red lipstick.
”Money on my mind,” she chuckled, lip-syncing to Rihanna‘s Pour It Up.
Amazed by the transformation, hundreds raced to comments to share their thoughts.
”Okay, it’s GIVING,” one couldn’t get over the mob wife-inspired look.
Someone else chuckled: ”I did it and I loved it, pretty sure I was a mob wife in a past life.”
”Omg this look just fits you! love love love,” another penned.
However, whilst Mirta definitely looked fabulous, not everyone will be racing to jump on the bandwagon.
One make-up lover said: ”Forever a clean girl.”
”Clean girl is NEVER out,” someone else hit back.
This is not the first time the stunner has made headlines – earlier last year, Mirta went viral after revealing how to apply falsies with no tweezers.
According to her, the answer to instant falsies is simple and takes second – first, you need to do is put some eyelash glue as you would normally.
Once done, place it on your bottom waterline and blink – and voila.
