HAILEY Bieber has been on the receiving end of recent celebrity bashing after dropping an innovative product.
The wife of Justin Bieber had social media going haywire after she promoted a new phone case from her brand Rhode Skin.
Rhode Skin now offers a phone case that has a placeholder etched on the back of it to keep lip gloss secured to the case.
Titled a lip case, the instrument is “compatible with iPhone 14 or 15 Pro/Pro Max,” according to the Rhode Skin website.
It’s priced at $35.00.
The Pop Crave X account, fka Twitter, tweeted a side-by-side image of Hailey, 27, modeling the case in a mirror selfie and a product photo of the item, revealing that the lip case would be coming out on February 27.

Many of the comments left under the tweet threw shade at the upcoming launch, accusing Hailey of doing a money-grab.
One X user wrote: “Capitalism strikes again. On top of the case being super ugly, why would anyone want their lip balm on the back of their phone?
Tryna fix a problem that don’t even exist. And “viral” is a HUGE reach.”
A second person on the platform sarcastically asked: “Why is this a necessity?”

Another added: “Nobody asked for that and nobody buying that.”
ROAD TO RHODE
The model dropped her beauty line in June 2022.
Fans had patiently waited for Hailey to drop her skincare brand for months before she did.
All of her skincare products are now available to purchase on Rhode Skin official website.
With the beauty mogul’s love for skincare and natural makeup, she focused on creating products for sensitive skin.
She created Rhode with the intention of “making products based in science and great formulation, simplifying many of the mysteries and complex narratives behind efficacious skincare,” as stated on Rhode Skin website.
THE BRAND’S TOP PRODUCTS
One of the top products in the Rhode launch was the Peptide Lip Treatment, which sold out as quickly as it was stocked (and for good reason).
The glossy treatment restores and replenishes dry lips whilst helping to lock-in moisture for visibly plumper, softer lips.
The “Strawberry Girl” trend has been taking over social media throughout the summer, and Bieber has been the unofficial poster-girl for the viral beauty trend.
In keeping with her ability to catch a trend as an early adopter, Hailey and her eponymous brand have created a limited-edition Strawberry Glaze flavour version of the lip treatment.
The limited-edition flavour was inspired by the Krispy Kreme donuts of the same name.
The cruelty-free, gluten-free, vegan and dermatologist tested and developed lip formula has a number of ingredients to create the sought-after hydrated, juicy lips look that the model has become famous for.
Shea butter hydrates and moisturises with five essential fatty acids, whilst peptides visibly plump and reduce the look of fine lines on the lips.
The Cupuaçu ingredient helps maintain skin elasticity, improving suppleness for dry and dehydrated lips, while the babassu is a rich, natural source of lauric acid to support the microbiome and replenish overall skin moisture.
Hailey even took to her social media for the launch to let fans in on the secret formula to achieving her flawless, glossy Strawberry Girl lips with her “favourite flavour launched so far.”
