blink’s first track to feature Mark, Tom and Travis in a decade has provided them with their first big charter in nearly two.
Last week was a big week for blink-182, and this week has continued that trend.
As well as selling out their UK tour incredibly quickly, the band also made their way back into the UK charts in a big way.
First off, ‘EDGING’, their first piece of new music to feature Mark, Tom and Travis in a decade, has officially given them their first Top 40 track in 17 years.
According to the Official Chart Company, it has debuted at No.31.
The last song to sit in the Top 40 was actually ‘Not Now’, the last song the band released before their first split, which sat at 30.
The last song the band had in the charts was ‘Up All Night’ in 2011, which peaked at No.48.
So, a good reason to celebrate.
Here is the track with the alternate video featuring a cameo from director Cole Bennett and Lil Tracy:
And the band’s Greatest Hits, which was released in 2005 and peaked at No.06 has returned to the album chart at No.42.
