They Might Be Giants have announced a new live album titled Beast of Horns. It will initially be available digitally and on CD and vinyl through the band’s official store and brick-and-mortar record shops beginning October 25th, before receiving a wide release on December 20th (pre-order it here).
The album features 13 tracks spotlighting Tricerachops Horns, a three-piece horn section comprised of Stan Harrison on sax, Dan Levine on trombone and euphonium, and Mark Pender on trumpet. Included are recordings from live performances in 2022 and 2023 of fan favorites like “Doctor Worm,” “Museum of Idiots,” and “The Darlings of Lumberland.”

Now, pre-orders are ongoing at TMBG’s official shop ahead of its public release later this month. Beast of Horns will not be available on streaming service, with the exception of a four-song sampler that will stream starting October 25th.
