The Voidz are back with their brand new EP, MęĞż øF rÅm.
Julian Casablancas and company first announced the EP when they performed the lead single“Blue Demon” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert back in March. CBS censored the performance, editing out the two instances where the word “intifada” appeared in the song’s lyrics.
The other three songs on the new EP, the band’s first project since 2024 full-length, Like All Before You, share a similar DNA with “Blue Demon.” Entitled “Unholy Lover, “Russian Coney Island,” and “Drifto,” they come loaded with stacked synthesizer melodies and Casablancas’ voice drenched in Auto-Tune.
