Peter Frampton is getting his band back together once again for the “Positively Thankful Tour,” a nine-date outing taking place around the East Coast of the US this fall.
Peter Frampton’s tour coincides with his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2024. The dates begin with a show in North Charleston, South Carolina on September 8th, and continue with shows in Washington D.C., New York City, Richmond, Philadelphia, and more. Tickets for Peter Frampton’s “Positively Thankful Tour” will first go on-sale via a Live Nation pre-sale on Thursday, June 27th at 10:00 a.m. local time (use code CHORD). Tickets will then go on-sale for the general public on Friday, June 28th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Peter Frampton had previously called it quits in 2019 after being diagnosed with Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM), a degenerative muscle disease. However, the rock musician retuned in 2023 with his “Never Say Never Tour,” and told fans that he was still “feeling strong” after his diagnosis. Meanwhile, fellow Rock Hall inductee Ozzy Osbourne recently dubbed Frampton as “the Betty White of rock & roll.”
