kid apollo are pulled in different directions on their latest track ‘leave her.’
London-based trio kid apollo have released their third single of 2022 with ‘leave her.’ Lifted from the outfit’s upcoming second EP u the real star here out November 19, the track was written and produced by kid apollo, with additional production from Tev’n (Rina Sawayama, Joy Crookes) and mixed by JHJ (cityboymoe, Mac Wetha, Olivia Dean). The track itself talks about being pulled in different directions.
Speaking on the song’s lyrical meaning, Jimmy said:
“This song talks about how I feel when you’re being pulled in two different directions but don’t know which way will sit best with you. Everyone around you tries to have good intentions but ultimately, only you can figure it all out. The song needed lots of space to breathe sonically in order to contradict the message of the actual song.”
‘leave her’ is available today on all streaming services. Watch the video below.
