FKA twigs cancels the North American leg of her Eusexua Tour, citing visa issues. Affected dates include those in Chicago, New York, and Toronto.

FKA twigs took to social media to announce the cancellation of the North American leg of her Eusexua Tour, with dates in Chicago, Toronto, and New York affected. The shows were originally slated to kick off tomorrow night in Chicago, with the Toronto and New York shows lined up for March 30 through April 3.

“Today I was informed that production did not fill out the correct paperwork in a timely manner for us to have our visas to come to the USA and perform,” she said in a video posted on March 25 on X/Twitter. “By no choice of my own, I will have to pull out of my New York, Chicago, and Toronto shows.”

“I’m looking into how and why this happened and I’m making sure that I have the support to correct this,” twigs continued. “So with that being said, I will be rescheduling these shows, and information will be coming on that very shortly. I can’t wait to bring Eusexua to you.”

The 37-year-old English singer has not performed in the US since 2019. She says the country “really feels like a home away from home, and this is just such a huge blow and I feel super let down.”

While the news is unfortunate, it’s not the first time twigs has had issues with the Eusexua Tour. She cancelled the first two shows in Prague and Berlin due to “shipping issues.” Her next stop will be in Mexico City on April 6, with dates in Barcelona and Paris scheduled for June 5 and June 8, respectively.

Curiously, so far her Coachella appearances seem unaffected, as she is still slated to perform during both weekends of the festival in Indio, California starting on April 11.

FKA twigs announced her third album, Eusexua, back in September, sharing a title track co-produced by Koreless and Eartheater. The release, which dropped in January, is her first LP since 2019’s Magdalene, though she released a mixtape, Caprisongs, in 2022.
