Hulu has revealed the trailer for the upcoming concert documentary Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band ahead of its premiere in October.
In addition to rehearsals for Springsteen’s ongoing world tour (get tickets here), the documentary features interviews with The Boss himself. “When the world shut down, I made a promise that if we got through this, I’d throw the biggest party I could,” he says.

“There are two things I try to accomplish in rehearsal,” Springsteen adds. “One, you’ve got to shake the cobwebs off the band and two, what will the rhythm of the show be?”
According to the official logline, Road Diary will offer Springsteen and The E Street Band’s “most in-depth look ever at the creation of their legendary live performances, including footage of band rehearsals, backstage moments, rare archival clips, and personal reflections from Springsteen himself.”
The documentary will debut on Hulu and Disney+ on October 25th — just days before Springsteen kicks off the Canadian leg of his tour in Montreal on October 31st. Other stops include Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. Tickets can be purchased here.
Last month, Springsteen ruled out the idea of doing a farewell tour anytime soon. He also recently released an instant classic set at Asbury Park’s Sea.Hear.Now Fest as a live album.
