A NEW Channel 4 documentary called Katie Price: Making Babies features the former glamour model and her ex-fiance Carl Woods undergoing fertility treatment.
The couple parted ways in 2023, but the two-part pre-recorded documentary airs emotional scenes that reveal the strain their relationship was under in the last months before they split.
Who is Katie Price’s ex-fiancé Carl Woods?
Carl Woods, 33, is a car dealer from Essex.
Born on February 5, 1989, he is 11 years Katie Price’s junior.
He made a brief appearance on Love Island in 2016, taking part in a speed dating challenge, but didn’t make it any further.
Woods also appeared in the ITV2 murder mystery reality series Killer Camp in 2018, which he won.

How did Katie Price and Carl Woods meet?
Carl and Katie began dating in June 2020 after being set up by a mutual friend.
In July 2020, Katie thanked Rochelle Wood for matchmaking the pair when she posted a picture to her Instagram story while on a date with Carl.
A source told The Sun Online: “Katie wasn’t looking for love or a serious relationship but just weeks after meeting Carl, she fell head over heels for him.
“He’s her ideal man, really: he’s got a job and his own money, he’s fit, they have a laugh – and she really fancies him.”
Carl has revealed how much of a huge fan he was of the former glamour model as a teen.
The Essex car dealer admitted that he had posters of her alter ego “Jordan” plastered around his room.

Carl is believed to be Katie’s eighth fiancé.
They announced their engagement via Instagram in April 2021.

Have Carl and Katie split up?
On July 29, 2022, it was revealed that Katie has split with Carl and told strangers she was single.
Katie made the claim during a boozy night out in Brighton the following night.
However, by July 31, 2022 Carl revealed they were very much still together, and denied they had split in a TalkTv interview.
He said: “The truth never sells and this is what I have learnt.
“I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Unfortunately for Kate she doesn’t know any different, I know what it is like to have a normal life, so when these things are happening, it’s just completely and entirely unfair.”
Why did Carl and Katie split and do they have children together?
Carl and Katie’s heartbreaking split has been caught on camera for their new IVF documentary that aired on Channel 4 on Monday January 20, 2025.
Katie has five children, Harvey, Junior Andre, Princess Andre, Jett and Bunny and hoped IVF treatment would help her conceive her sixth child with Carl when they were together.
The former couple filmed their treatment as they tried for a first baby together in the summer of 2023 – but months later they called it a day and ended their three-year relationship.
The IVF treatment followed a turbulent period in which Carl discovered Katie had cheated on him with former international polo star Jamie Morrison and traded sexy messages with an England footballer.

But their relationship came to an end as Carl said in the episode: “Sometimes loving somebody is just not enough.”
Katie said: “We’ve gone through all this IVF, we’ve had a failed IVF, and then he can just drop me like that.
“Don’t care about my feelings. Don’t care about the fact that in my head I thought we were having a donor egg going in me.
“For him to now decide, Nah, I’m just gonna block her.”

Carl then tells the camera: “It’s the hardest decision of my life to make, like to tap out on it. She will just think that I’m out of order. ‘He’s left me when we were having a child’.
“It’s not about that at all. What it is about, it is about having stability in my life. Kids need a stable home, and there’s no sign of it changing. I don’t have the fight left in me. I’ve fought for three years.”
Carl adds: “I’ve never wanted it to go this way. An IVF journey is hard anyway, really difficult with the drugs and the mood swings.
“It’s been absolute hell. I’ve sat at the end of the bed and cried to her. I have done everything I can do, and only last thing is to walk away.”
Katie then addressed his point on stability and potentially moving, saying: “He says, Oh, you keep giving me broken promises you’ll move, you’ll move. And I’m like, but I genuinely will move, but I can’t at the minute.”
Carl continued to express his heartbreak on camera saying: “She’s a wonderful mum. She’s got five beautiful kids, and she does very well.
“I even had Harvey messaging me. He drew me a picture here. Best mommy’s boyfriend. Daddy Carl woods, best daddy in the world. That’s hard mate. That is, it’s been three years with a boy. Heartbreaking. That is.”
Katie says all Carl has to worry about is himself and his dog, as she tells the camera: “What I have to worry about is five kids running a big house, the dogs, schools, work.”
