Mental health is important to Amaza. “I’m grateful to have a platform to share my story, and help people understand it’s okay not to be okay 100 percent of the time. I am very open about a lot of things, and if someone can see somebody else on TV or living a glamorous life having dark days, it makes it more real and relatable. Talking about [bad] mental health is still so taboo, but once we start having these conversations, you realize lots of people struggle with the same types of things,” she told Cosmopolitan UK.
“I am religious about cleansing and will double cleanse to remove all my make-up. Next, I’ll use a toner and occasionally salicylic acid on areas that get the odd blemish such as my chin, nose and forehead. I’ll follow this with a really good vitamin C serum and then my favorite moisturizer,” she told Grazia. “I recently started using bio-oil a couple of times a week before bed – it feels very oily when you first apply it, but it soon sinks in and my skin looks so radiant come morning.”
