Pop star and actress Sabrina Carpenter celebrated her 25th birthday on Saturday, May 11, and used the occasion to make fun of Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio.
In a video posted to social media, Carpenter can be seen blowing out the candles on a cake that has the meme of Leonardo DiCaprio taking a close-up selfie with the caption “Nooo don’t turn 25 your so sexy aha”, which mocks the 49-year-old’s history of dating younger women, particularly women in their 20s.
Carpenter’s birthday cake has gone massively viral on social media with the below tweet racking up over 10 million views on its own.
Most recently, DiCaprio was reported to be dating Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, who, coincidentally enough, was born on June 7, 1998, which currently makes her 25 years old.
Prior to Ceretti, DiCaprio has been linked with Gigi Hadid, Victoria Lamas, Camila Morrone (for five years from 2017 to 2022), and Nina Agdal.
While DiCaprio has been in the public spotlight for over three decades now, Carpenter has just recently begun to break into Hollywoodd’s A-list, especially after serving as the opening act on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in 2023. Next week, she’ll be the musical guest on the Jake Gyllenhaal-hosted season finale of Saturday Night Live.
Carpenter began her career as an actress, with her first acting role coming on an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Her breakthrough came on the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World, which she starred in from 2014 to 2017, before starring in Milo Murphy’s Law from 2016 to 2019. Carpenter has also made appearances on TV shows such as The Goodwin Games, Orange Is the New Black Austin & Ally, and more.
