SHE has gone to No1 with the second fastest-selling album of the year, but that’s not the only thing Sabrina Carpenter has to celebrate.
The Espresso singer is back together with her actor boyfriend Barry Keoghan following a lovers’ tiff earlier this month.

Her album Short N’ Sweet shot to the top of the charts yesterday with seven-day sales of 89,000 in the UK, while Taste became her third tune of the year to top the singles charts.
In fact, she occupies all three top spots, with Please Please Please at No 2 and Espresso at No 3.
And it’s clear Barry has been listening to her latest record after they decided to give their romance another shot, as he singled out sexy track Bed Chem as his favourite tune.
He wrote on Instagram: “Bed Chem my fave — just sayin’ m’darlin @sabrinacarpenter.”
A source told me: “Sabrina has been ridiculously busy over the last few months and it put tension on their relationship. Tempers frayed and they had a row and split.
“But they quickly came to their senses and realised that what they have was not worth throwing away.
“They are back together and really happy.”
I’m not surprised Barry is keen on Bed Chem, given that’s the one in which she celebrates his prowess in the bedroom.
On the track, she sings: “Are you free next week? I’d bet we’d have really good bed chem. And I bet we’d both arrive at the same time. And I bet the thermostat’s set at six-nine. And I bet it’s even better than in my head.”
Most of the other tracks are about her ex Shawn Mendes — so perhaps best to skip those, Barry.
The actor also had a great week after it was revealed he had been cast in the Peaky Blinders film opposite Cillian Murphy.
They will shoot the movie later this year and it is expected to come out on Netflix in 2025.
Meanwhile, Sabrina kicks off her headline tour of North America next month, which will stretch through until the end of November.
That might stop them from seeing each other much this year, but it seems they are firmly back on track.
WAR OF THE WINES
GARY BARLOW and Kylie Minogue are no strangers to battling it out in the charts.
But next month they have a whole new arena in which to take each other on – going head-to-head for the most popular celebrity wine served at the National Television Awards.

The stars are stocking the O2 Arena’s VIP bars with their own branded booze for the bash, after each landing deals with show promoters.
Spinning Around singer Kylie launched her plonk in 2020, while Gary released his in October 2021.
According to reports, Kylie’s bottles, which are stocked in supermarkets across the country, racked up a staggering £35million in sales in 2022 alone.
While it’s unlikely either of them will be at The O2 for the swanky ceremony next month, if Kylie does attend you can bet she won’t be holding a glass of her rival’s booze.
Previously talking about her love of her own-brand vino, the star revealed she had not tried any other celebrity booze because she loves her own so much.
In 2025, Kylie will branch out into producing non-alcoholic tinnies, while later this year Gary will return to our screens on ITV with a new travel show about South America and covering his love of good food and wine.
May the best tipple win.
BASEL HAS VISION
THE Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Basel, Switzerland, after the city saw off competition from Geneva.
The news was announced yesterday along with an important diary date – May 17, 2025 – for the grand final.

Two semi-finals will also take place at the St Jakobshalle arena on May 13 and 15, with tickets going on sale later in the year.
Switzerland won the honour of hosting in May when non-binary star Nemo won the event in Sweden with their song The Code.
OLIVIA PLUCKS A PARTRIDGE

The Drivers License singer supported British heart-throb Louis at the premiere of his Apple TV+ series Disclaimer, which also stars Cate Blanchett and will officially launch in October.
She is currently on a break from her hugely successful Guts world tour, but will pick things up again in a fortnight for the Asia leg.
It looks like the busy lovebirds are making the most of their time together while they can.
LANA’S A ’GATOR DATER
LANA DEL REY has been snapped up by an alligator tour guide.
The singer performed at Reading and Leeds Festivals over the weekend and now it’s been revealed she flew over from the States with a new special man in her life, Jeremy Dufrene.

They have known each other for years, after she took one of the wildlife tours he runs in Louisiana, and they are now rumoured to be dating.
A TikToker spotted them walking hand-in-hand at Leeds Festival and another fan says they saw Lana dining with Jeremy in London earlier in the month.
Not a lot is known about him, but he is said to have worked at a chemical plant before setting up as a guide in Louisiana’s wildlife-rich swamps and marshes.
Lana actually gave a clue about their relationship back in May, seemingly calling him “my guy”, when she posted an Instagram snap with the caption: “Family w my guy @jeremy.dufrene @codyjay.”
Most stars stick to dating other A-listers, so I’m gobsmacked with Lana’s unusual choice of bloke.
They’re not an obvious match, but at least she’ll be able to get free boat rides when she next visits.

The star is enjoying some rest and relaxation ahead of a gruelling stint in Sunset Boulevard on Broadway, which will kick off next month.
The Pussycat Dolls star will reprise her leading role as Norma Desmond in the show, following a sold out run in the West End last year.

The official cast recording of the soundtrack from its run at London’s Savoy Theatre will be released on October 25.
