The duet between Green and Langley skyrocketed to the top of the charts last summer and took over social media. It won all kinds of awards. It continues to be one of the most played songs on the radio more than a year after its release.
A large part of its popularity stems from the relationship between the two artists— or lack thereof.
Is Riley Green dating Ella Langley? No.
Were they dating at one point? Do they even see each other in that way? Nobody knows for certain…
However, their joint performances of ‘You Look Like You Love Me‘ are subject to constant scrutiny anyway. If they lack chemistry while on stage, the internet runs wild with gossip about a breakup. If they are flirty and playful while on stage, the internet runs wild with gossip about a rekindled romance.

It certainly did not help that Langley confirmed Green is dumb with a not-so-subtle wink at one of her shows. She realized that it was a bad idea to wink as soon as she winked.

Here is where things get a bit confusing. Although I am sure he does not discriminate, Riley Green recently revealed that he prefers brunette women to blonde women.
That of course led country music fans to believe he would have an interest in Ella Langley because of her hair color. That was all the confirmation they needed.
So then why did Green bring a mysterious blonde — who looked a lot like Megan Moroney — to his childhood home in Alabama back in May? He said himself that he prefers brunettes!
I don’t know what to think anymore. I am completely exhausted by this whole love triangle thing so I can only imagine how Ella Langley and Riley Green feel. The difference is that they are indirectly making money off of the drama. I am stuck consuming all of the chatter for free.
And to be honest, if I had to guess, there is nothing here. Two platonic friends wrote and performed a sexy song together. They were were not thrown into all of the rumors by choice.
