A FAMOUS noughties pop icon has declared that 2025 would be the the “year of self love” as she stripped off to a bikini.
The 46-year-old singer rose to fame back in 2000 with her hit song, I’m Like A Bird.

Showing off her amazing figure pop star Nelly Furtado put on a sexy display in her latest social media post.
The singer shared a series of sizzling mirror selfies which thrilled fans.
Captioning the pics she wrote: “HAVE A BODY NEUTRAL 2025, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, LOVE WITH EVERY INCH OF YOUR HEART ♥️THANKS FOR ALL THE MEMORIES THIS YEAR.”
Going on, she said: ‘This year I became aware of the aesthetic pressure of my work in a brand new way, while simultaneously I experienced new levels of self love and genuine confidence from within,’ she shared honestly.

Nelly also revealed the trick she uses for photo shoots and red carpet appearances.
“The day before photo shoots and red carpets I drink a lot of water and sleep on my back. Sometimes on the red carpet or at photo shoots my makeup artist uses face tape to give my eyes skin and makeup more lift.
“Sometimes my stylist uses body tape to give a certain look to different silhouettes. Body makeup can also sometimes be contoured to achieve a certain look,” she explained.

Nelly rose to fame in 2000 thanks to tracks like I Am Like A Bird and Turn Off The Light.
She also had massive success in 2006 with the release of her chart-topping album Loose which sold more than 12million copies worldwide and spawned four massive hit singles including Promiscuous, Maneater, Say It Right and All Good Things (Come to an End).
Nelly, who was born in Canada to Portuguese parents, gave birth to her daughter Nevis on September 20, 2003 with her then-boyfriend Jasper Gahunia.

The couple split in 2005 but have remained close friends and continue to co-parent their daughter.
Nelly married sound engineer Demacio Castellon in 2008.
But she revealed on Loose Women in 2017 that the pair had split up after nine years together.
The mum-of-one then stepped away from the limelight after struggling with the pressures of touring.
Nelly explained: “At the height of my career, it was super exciting – but I took too much on. A mother on the road trying to maintain a relationship; I cried on stage.”
She told the Loose Women panel: “I need to stay emotionally and physically well for my daughter.”
The hit-maker has taken a few years off since the release of her last album The Spirit Indestructible and moved away from music entirely to focus on her home life.
She has since made her comeback and released another album in 2023 – much to the delight of fans around the world.
