Megan Thee Stallion Goes Cosmic for Halloween as Starfire of the Teen Titans

Megan Thee Stallion isn’t just a musical icon and a fierce performer, she also slays the house down every Halloween. Over the years she’s dressed up as characters from My Hero Academia, and even as one of the Gremlins. And this year is no different when it comes to Megan going nerdy for spooky season. For Halloween 2024, Megan released images of herself dressed as Starfire, the legendary Teen Titan from DC Comics. You can check out images of Starfire Thee Stallion, the alien princess of Tamaran, right here:

Now, some of you who grew up with the animated Teen Titans cartoon, or even Teen Titans Go!, might be looking at these photos and not recognizing the character much. And we wouldn’t blame you. In the cartoons, they usually portray Princess Koriand’r of Tamaran very differently. She looks far younger, and far less sexy-fied. But in her original DC Comics incarnation, Starfire looked quite different. As designed by the late, great comic book artist George Perez in 1980 for The New Teen Titans, his Kory had huge curly hair, that would trail off into fire when she flew. She also showed way more skin in her original design.

All this time, we thought Megan was mostly a Marvel girl since she was on She-Hulk. We have to admit, we love all the love so many celebrities have for old-school comic book costumes at Halloween. Remember when Keke Palmer was the X-Men’s Rogue for Halloween? And now we have Megan as Starfire from DC’s biggest rival to the X-Men, the Teen Titans. DC Studios is planning a Teen Titans movie in the near future. They could do far worse than having Megan Thee Stallion as the team’s fiery alien warrior princess. If James Gunn casts Megan as Starfire, we have to say, whoever plays Nightwing is one lucky man.
