Mac Sabbath have announced a September 2025 North American tour.
The outing leads up to the McDonald’s-themed Black Sabbath cover band’s appearance at Riot Fest on September 19th in Chicago. Headlining dates kick off September 4th in San Luis Obispo, California, and run through September 13th in Salem, Oregon. Schizophonics and Descartes de Kant will provide support.
General ticket sales for select dates begin Friday (June 27th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Additional ticket info can be found on Mac Sabbath’s website.
“Descartes de Kant (DAK) is a Devo-esque Barbarella space odyssey and Schizophonics is like a sexy ‘MC5-Thousand,’ the highest energy rock ‘n roll band I’ve ever seen!” enthused Mac Sabbath frontman Ronald Osbourne in a press release. “This lineup is another worldly circus of extreme portions! A roller coaster thrill ride of science fiction and time travel from start to finish!”

Mac Sabbath perform parodies of Black Sabbath tunes with the lyrics changed to reflect fast-food themes. Their songs include “Sweet Beef” (instead of “Sweet Leaf”), “Frying Pan” (“Iron Man”), and “Pair-a-Buns” (“Paranoid”). They also cover songs by KISS, Motörhead, and more, with a similar twist.
The band will be hitting the road following the final show by the actual Black Sabbath on July 5th. That makes the Ozzy-approved tribute act one of the best ways to experience Sabbath’s music in-person going forward, along with Zakk Wylde’s Zakk Sabbath, who are also going on tour soon.
