ClayCo’s own Latto has returned with the visuals for her anti-frugal anthem “Brokey” which features Cameos from Rubi Rose and Desi Banks.
Latto blessed us with her album Sugar Honey Iced Tea and spawned several bangers but one thrived above the rest. “Brokey” was an instant stand-out track from the album filled with slander lines that rang off in the clubs. If the name didn’t tip you off it’s the anti-broke anthem many have awaited and she even addressed the overs saturation of shark boots.
Latto finally teased the official video for “Brokey” with a clip featuring Desi Banks portraying a “Brokey” who is getting left in the dust. Another teaser featured Rubi Rose promoting a hotline for women tired of being their partner’s mama and paying bills.
After a 48-hour delay, the ClayCo Queen delivered the official video featuring Desi Banks and Rubi Rose. The cameo’s are nice but Latto also dissevered several bomb looks while representing Georgia as always. It doesn’t get more Atlanta than sitting on top of a logo-less Landmark Diner and rapping in front of a Six Flags ride. The winner of the “Brokey Challenge” even makes a special in the video as well.
In the end, she even teases another visual for the track “There She Go”. Unlike most Big Latto is promoting her latest project past the 30-day window breathing new life into each record.
