KELLY Clarkson forgot her lyrics and had a wardrobe mishap during her New Jersey show on Friday, May 10, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.
Kelly, 42, performed at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on May 10 and 11 as she escaped New York City for a few days.
The Since U Been Gone singer showed off her nearly 60-pound weight loss in a skintight black jumpsuit as she took the stage at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena days before addressing Ozempic claims.
She had her wavy blond locks pulled back in a ponytail as she let her bangs fall on her forehead.
At one point, an eyewitness told The U.S. Sun that she “got her hair caught” in the back zipper of the jumpsuit.
“She briefly suffered a wardrobe malfunction and had to go up to one of her backup singers to get her hair out,” the eyewitness spilled.

“She made a comment about wanting to rock out, like, nod her head up and down and couldn’t because it was stuck.”
Then, later on in the evening, she started singing the song Mine and forgot the lyrics, the eyewitness added.
“I’m not in this moment anymore,” Kelly confessed to the audience.
“I have let go of these lyrics… like Elsa,” referring to the animated character from Disney‘s Frozen.
“Just so you know, that’s what a singer does. I was like, ‘Oh s**t, what?’ I was like, ‘Totally,”’ she continued as she motioned her mic to the audience.
The talk show host then said, “We’re gonna do it again. I’m gonna do it right,” before she began singing the lyrics to her song Mine all over again.
‘WEIRD MOOD’
When Kelly took the stage around 8:20 pm, she greeted the sold-out crowd and revealed that she was in a “weird mood.”
“I’m in a weird mood. I don’t know why. You should’ve seen me backstage. I was dancing like Kristen Wiig in [Saturday Night Live],” she said, referring to the comedy sketch show.
“I don’t know what’s happening. I’m just really happy to be doing a show! We’re doing a full show.”
She went on to say that usually she only gets to do two-minute songs as part of Kellyoke on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Throughout the hour-and-a-half concert, the TV personality made other “weird” comments, showing her quirky side to the audience.
After singing a song, she said her left hand was “freezing” but her right hand was fine.
“Am I going to die? If there’s a doctor let me know,” she asked.
At another point, the hitmaker said that she “tried to be sexy” while singing another song, but then accidentally bit her tongue.
Finally, she joked about hearing noises on stage as her 10-person band began playing their instruments, per an eyewitness.
She asked the crowd if they were hearing the same thing, but then said maybe it was because she’s into the show Fallout.
The Prime Video show is based on a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles where citizens are forced to live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants, and bandits.
STANDING OVATION
Despite Kelly’s setbacks, the mom-of-two’s show had everyone in the audience wanting more, including her die-hard fans who traveled from other states to be in New Jersey that night.
Before the encore, Kelly “abruptly ran off the stage” after saying thank you, leaving the crowd confused whether it was the end of the show or if she’d be coming back.
“The audience began chanting, ‘Kelly, Kelly!’ and stood up to look around and see what was going on, if it was the end or not,” the eyewitness shared.
“After what felt like a long three minutes, she came back out and wrapped up the show singing Stronger and Since U Been Gone.”
“Atlantic City, what a fun show last night! Thank you, Ruby, for helping me with Heartbeat song,” she wrote on her Instagram following the show.
Ruby is one of Kelly’s superfans who has Down syndrome. She was invited to the show to sing Heartbeat onstage with the singer.
Kelly returned to Etess Arena on May 11 and she reportedly suffered another wardrobe malfunction when her in-ear monitor stopped working.
