Justin Timberlake shades Britney Spears' apology with shocking statement

He’s being rather selfish.

Justin Timberlake made a seemingly bizarre statement Wednesday night stating that he wanted to apologize to “absolutely f—king nobody.”

Timberlake made the comment during his surprise pop-up concert in New York City which the “Cry Me a River” crooner used to mark his 43rd birthday.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f–king nobody,” Timberlake told the crowd during the one-night-only event as the band played the melody of his 2013 Jay-Z collaboration “Holy Grail.”

The Post reached out to Timberlake for comment.

Since posting the video, many fans have deduced that the “Mirror” singer was referring to a statement made by Britney Spears late last week when she seemingly apologized to her ex-boyfriend on Instagram.

“I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry,” Spears, 42, wrote in an Instagram post of Timberlake during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

At one point during the one-night-only event, Timberlake took a break from singing and told the crowd: “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f–king nobody” as the band played the melody of his 2013 Jay-Z collaboration “Holy Grail.”

“I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish,’ ” the Princess of Pop added. “It is soo good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard ???”

“Ps ‘Sanctified’ is wow too,” Spears added referencing a second track on Timberlake’s new album “Everything I Thought It Was.”

While Spears did not name Timberlake outright, the clip and caption leave little room for interpretation.

The apology comes after the “Toxic” singer claimed in her memoir “The Woman in Me” that Timberlake cheated on her when they dated from 1999 to 2002.

Spears also alleged the former *NSYNC member forced her to get an abortion when she wouldn’t have made that choice “if it had been let up to me.”

“I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” wrote the singer. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

“I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby. I don’t know if that was the right decision,” Spears, who recently separated from her 29-year-old husband Sam Asghari, continued. “If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”

Wednesday’s show was also the first time that the singer has publicly acknowledged the apology despite being on a press tour to promote his upcoming tour and album.

During a Tuesday appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson” show, the “Sexy Back” singer deflected any Spears-related questions by revealing that he and former *NSYNC bandmates may be releasing new music.

“We’ve been in the studio, so there may be a little something in the future, too,” he told Clarkson.

The potential comeback for the 90’s heartthrobs came after they briefly reunited to release a song called “Better Place,” which was featured in the 2023 film “Trolls Band Together.”

The song marks the first time the group has put new music out since 2002.

“That was fun,” he said to Clarkson, 41. “It’s kind of crazy, like, there’s so much that just picks up right where it left off as far as the chemistry.”
