COUNTING On fans have noticed that Jana Duggar may be detaching more from her famous family after recently getting married.
Jana, 34, has made a big name change on social media following her Thursday wedding to Stephen Wissmann, 31.

The oldest Duggar daughter removed the family’s last name from her Instagram bio, which now reads, “Jana Wissmann.”
Fans of the TLC star, who rose to fame alongside her siblings on 19 Kids & Counting, quickly pointed out the social media update.
“Whoomp there it is,” one person wrote alongside a screenshot of her bio.
“Dropping the Duggar like a bad habit,” a second added.
“Honestly, Wissmann is a killer last name. I’d be so fast to lose that fugly Duggar,” a third joked.
“Wonder When will she update her location in her bio,” another said.
Jana also updated her profile photo, which now shows her and Stephen on their special day.

On Thursday, the couple said “I do” in front of 500 guests at their wedding in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Jana called the day a “dream come true,” noting how she never thought it would actually arrive.
“For me, it felt like, ‘Okay, it’s never coming.’ But now it’s starting to sink in. Reality is starting to set in,” she told People.
“And I’m like, ‘Wow, this truly is something that I’ve dreamed of.
“And just to see it coming about is incredible and kind of hard to believe. It’s a dream come true,” Jana added.
Jana and Stephen, whose large families are close, dated a few years back and remained friends.
Jana’s brother, Jeremiah Duggar, is also married to Stephen’s sister Hannah.

The couple reconnected earlier this year during her second semester of nursing school.

Jana’s wedding day was full of family, as her sister, Jessa Duggar Seewald, served as her maid of honor.
Her bridesmaids included her sister-in-law, Abbie Duggar, and sisters Joy-Anna Forsyth, Jinger Duggar Vuolo, Johannah Duggar, and Jordyn Duggar.
Jill Duggar, 33, was notably missing from the bunch.
Jana wore an off-the-shoulder satin wedding dress, which went against the strict dress rules put in place by her father, Jim Bob Duggar.
MOVING ON
Along with officially changing her last name, Jana is also moving away from her family in other ways.
The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed last week that she will finally leave her family’s home and move into a house with Stephen.
The couple purchased a $275,000 Nebraska home on May 31, 2023, and have been “fixing it up.”
Only Stephen’s name is listed on the home deed according to Nebraska property records.
The single-family home features five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a basement, a two-car garage, and other amenities.
The small, 2,152-square-foot house sits on a .25-acre lot.
