CHRISTINA AGUILERA’s debut Las Vegas show is set to be her sexiest in years – with a section dedicated to her racy movie musical Burlesque.
As well as the title track to the 2010 film, which also starred Cher, she will belt out Guy What Takes His Time.
In the hit flick, Christina performs the track atop a grand piano with little more than pearls and feathers protecting her modesty.
Now Bizarre understands a number of her Vegas outfits have been inspired by the film’s classic showgirl style.
A source said: “She’s kept a very low profile in the run-up to the gigs in order to maintain her health, but it’s safe to say things are going to go off with a bang.
“The show will be classic sexy Christina with an impressive set and dancers, but it will never take away from her voice.
“The venue is smaller than many in Sin City but that’s not stopped her going all out.
“The stage is being adapted from Kylie Minogue’s show to include a new raised platform and stairs, while a complex set including a giant bed for her and her dancers to writhe on has also been added.
“Christina will be raised up as if flying over the stage for one of the numbers.”
She will perform at Vegas hotel The Venetian’s new venue Voltaire, from December 30 until March.
If the shows are as good as they sound, there will be plenty of demand for her to extend the run.
Taylor touchdown in NYC
IT is rare to see Taylor Swift out of the Kansas City Chief stands after she went public with her romance with American football star Travis Kelce.
But she finally dragged herself away from the game for a night out in New York with her friends.
Taylor tried to go incognito in a black coat and skirt which she wore with chunky heels and tights.
She will be spending Christmas with her family and Travis, with insiders admitting their romance had become so serious they had spent hours having “deep conversations” about their future together.
The only deep conversations we want right now is about how many pigs in blankets are being served up on Monday.
Keisha’s ice moves
SUGABABES’ Keisha Buchanan looks the part in the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special but says she doesn’t have the pop star moves to make her a shoo-in for the glitterball trophy.
The singer has been partnered with Gorka Marquez for the one-off, on BBC One at 4.40pm on Christmas Day, with ex-rugby player Danny Cipriani, historian Dan Snow, and EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick.
She said: “The Sugababes are actually known as the girl band who didn’t dance, so I want people to know that.”
Beckhams go bananas in Bahamas
BROOKLYN Beckham was all smiles on holiday with wife Nicola Peltz she and his mum Victoria appeared to put their feud behind them by cavorting on the beach during a family holiday.
The two women clashed over Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding last year, with drama about the bride’s dress and who would design it.
As we all know now, it wasn’t Posh.
But you wouldn’t have known as they danced on the sand in the Bahamas.
Victoria was joined by husband David and their kids Cruz and Harper but their pro footballer lad Romeo was nowhere to be seen.
Well, someone has got to be back at home peeling the veg.
Going West
DESPITE his tumbling wealth and popularity, Kanye West has announced his craziest ever idea – building an entire city in the Middle East.
The rapper plans a futuristic settlement four times the size of Paris.
The project, which he wants to call DROAM, is in its early stages but he is hiring architects, builders and project managers.
He tried something before in Wyoming, US, but it was torn down by officials due to local regulations.
He also tried and failed to launch his own school and church – and to become US President?
Meanwhile it emerges his album Vultures, which was due in October, then last week, then on New Year’s Eve, now won’t drop until January 12.
If he can’t sort an album, what chance a new city?
Rock on
ARCTIC Monkeys have had their highest-earning year ever.
The rockers, fronted by Alex Turner, made a £13.7million profit from merchandise and live gigs in the year to April, according to files at Companies House.
They headlined the Reading and Leeds festival in summer 2022 then Glasto this year but also coined it from arena shows.
Their previous best year’s profit was £11.1million in 2018-19 when they released sixth album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.
The band, who released seventh album The Car in 2022, have no plans for more shows any time soon and, given the gaps between recent albums, we will keep fingers crossed that the wait for the next one is not so long.
