Also known as a pannus stomach, the so-called apron belly is a medical condition that affects people of all shapes and sizes around the world.

Amongst them is also fashionista Lindsey who proudly calls herself the Apron Belly Girlie on Instagram.
As explained by the experts at Very Well Health, the term is used to describe a sagging stomach or skin that hangs from the abdomen, which can occur after pregnancy or weight changes.
Not exclusive to plus-size people only, having a pannus stomach is totally normal for many – however, the sagging skin can also cause discomfort and even skin infections.
Whilst for years Lindsey, who is a size 22/24, thought that her apron belly would make certain styles ”off limits” for her, she’s now embraced her curves and proudly shows them off on social media.
Whether that’s bikinis or dresses, shorts or crop tops, the dark-haired beauty is not here to become invisible – and she certainly doesn’t care what the bullies have to say.
Unfortunately, Lindsay, from Texas, US, has become a target for keyboard warriors who oftentimes leave nasty and rude comments about her appearance.

Luckily for the dark-haired beauty, who proudly calls herself ”beautiful” and ”sexy”, there’s also been heaps of support from kind-hearted social media users.
One horrified person said: ”People literally cannot control how they are shaped, even skinny people all have different body shapes. This comment section is awful.”
