How Kelly Ripa Keeps Her Arms Fit & Toned at 54

When Kelly Ripa, 54, hits the red carpet, she turns heads not only for her impeccable fashion but also for her incredibly toned arms. The mom-of-three is best known for hosting LIVE with a variety of co-hosts (most recently with her husband, Mark Consuelos). Before that, she made a name for herself in All My Children and Hope & Faith. These days, however, many fans are dying to know her arm workout routine.

So how does Ripa keep her arms fit and toned? Here’s a rundown of the exercise and nutrition habits that contribute to her enviable fitness level.

She Builds Lean Muscle With High-Intensity Dance Interval Training

In March 2024, Ripa’s personal trainer Anna Kaiser opened up with E! News about the star’s workout regimen. Kaiser explained that the morning show host does high-intensity dance interval training six days per week.

“I find it very rewarding to see someone grow,” Kaiser told the outlet of working with Ripa for years. “I think we started with 20 minutes. And we have such a good time together because I know exactly where I can push her every day.”

She added, “Sometimes she has had to shoot three shows and a podcast and this is her one hour before she goes into another interview. And so I work with the energy that she has that day to help boost her for the rest of her day.'”

She’s a Beast With Dumbbells

Here’s the workout:

She Focuses on “Strength Eating”

In February 2024, Ripa’s nutritionist Dr. Daryl Gioffre called Ripa a “supermom” in an article for E! News.

“She works out seven days a week,” he explained. “And she maintains this incredible strength eating lifestyle that I’ve taught her.”

Strength eating, according to Gioffre means that “every time you’re hungry or you’re gonna put something in your body, it has to be something that is going to strengthen you from the inside out.” This includes greens, fiber, protein and healthy fats.
