“Heart Attack” is the lead single from Demi, Lovato’s 2013 studio album. Co-written by Lovato, Sean Douglas, Nikki Williams, Aaron Phillips, and The Suspex (who also produced the track), it’s one of Lovato’s signature songs that showcase her powerhouse vocals. “Heart Attack” peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and also hit the top 10 in Canada, Ireland, Lebanon, New Zealand, Scotland, and the UK charts. The song is also certified 5x platinum by the RIAA. Demi debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured singles like “Made in the USA,” “Neon Lights,” and “Really Don’t Care.”

Other songs from Lovato in the Spotify Billions Club include “Sorry Not Sorry” from 2017’s Tell Me You Love Me album, her feature on Clean Bandit’s 2018 “Solo” single, and 2017’s “Échame la Culpa” duet with Luis Fonsi.

Last month, Lovato got married to Jutes after the fellow musician proposed to her in December 2023. Lovato’s last album, Holy Fvck, was released in 2022. But she previously shared that she’s working on her ninth studio album during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“I’m working on new music. I’m kind of figuring out my sound right now,” she shared. “I don’t know when it’ll come out, but it’ll come out when I’m ready. I tend to write from the place that I am in at the moment. Because it’s actually been amazing. I’ve been writing nothing but love songs and sexy songs because I’m in this really good place. It feels good to be able to write coming from that place.”
